My journey with Allstate started in 1999 while I attended college. My major was Communications, with a minor in Business, and never in my wildest imagination did I think I’d wind up buying the agency 10 years later. I discovered that I love insurance, or rather I love the protection it offers individuals and families, and I’m fortunate the industry enables me to leverage my love of communications and business and put them both to work on behalf of my customers. It’s been an incredible journey. I’ve earned many awards at Allstate but in 2014, I had the honor of winning the prestigious Ray Lynch Award. The Award is awarded to one agent each year out of 10,000 Allstate agents and without question, it’s been the highlight of my career to date. What’s most special about this award is that it recognizes many of the things that I am passionate about, those being community service and supporting charitable institutions both financially and by volunteering. Of course, it would be absurd to discuss Christina Shaw, the Allstate agency owner, without mentioning Christina Shaw, loving Mom to two amazing young daughters. Mia and Mackie are my heart and soul and provide me with the focus, energy, and drive I need when I am working with my team, clients, or organizations I support. It is 100% true that they are the impetus that propels me each day, making me smile, giving me purpose, and fueling my passion for what I do. And of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t also mention my love of travel, theater, New York City, my family, my partner, and the blended family we’ve created, yoga, running, and lots and lots of coffee.
