Steve has been making an impact on people's lives for more than 40 years, originally working with kids in day camp, developmentally disabled children, and also working around the same time with senior citizens. In college days, he volunteered at a cerebral palsy center, a crisis intervention center where he successfully dealt with five suicide calls, and worked for many years at a group home with developmentally disabled adults. He has excelled in the arts of personal training, yoga, Qi Gong, meditation, massage, nutrition, and more. He has worked with clients ranging from the ages of 4 to 106. Steve has experience working in schools, camps, small businesses, corporations, fitness centers, chiropractic centers, wellness centers, senior rehabilitation centers, special needs schools, as well as in people's homes and working with people in addiction/recovery. He was a personal trainer, massage therapist and yoga instructor at Johnson & Johnson, AT&T and other corporate fitness settings, along with his tenure at CardioFitness in New York, The Spa at The Hilton at Short Hills and the Chatham Club. He worked for over 16 years as a physical education teacher and was a key innovator in revising the physical education curriculum, introducing fitness journals, fitness units, character education, stress management techniques, meditation, and rock wall. Steve was also the primary adaptive physical education teacher for children with various disabilities in summer school. Steve was also at this time one of the founders and the Physical Recreation Director of ArtQuest, a performing arts camp. Promoting our philosophy that everyone can lead a healthier, more fulfilling life, Steve has created initiatives on a local and global scale so that all who want balance can achieve it. While he was teaching physical education, Steve was the Founder of Wellness Week in Passaic County, which helped inspire International Health and Wellness week, held annually in May, with participants from around the world.
