Self care can look like a lot of things. Sometimes its the cliche bubble bath and candles, and sometimes its the McDonalds drive thru for comfort fries. The important thing is allowing your self the space for multiple forms of self care. It is not a one size fits all, or even a one size fits YOU situation. Self care takes on many different forms, and this week, Dayna and Jessica are discussing what self care looks like.
Understanding and accepting duality! It's a great way to replace "this or that" thinking and replace it with "this AND that" thinking. Oftentimes we are holding space for contradictory feelings at the same time. For example, a child graduating high school. A parent can feel elated, AND sad at the same time. This is duality.
