Is Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die one of the most original sci-fi movies of the year?

In this episode of The Clean Slate Video Club, we review Gore Verbinski’s return to directing with Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die.

We discuss:

* Why the comedy works surprisingly well

* The film’s themes surrounding AI, social media, and technology

* Sam Rockwell’s performance

* The pacing issues that keep it from being perfect

* How it compares to The Ring, Black Mirror, Deadpool, and Pirates of the Caribbean

Despite a few flaws, this ended up being one of our favorite recent watches thanks to its originality, sharp dialogue, and genuinely funny performances.
