From Norway to Gibraltar: Extreme Adventure, Mental Health, and the Power of Nature | Jonas Böhlmark
In this episode, I share an incredible message from Jonas Böhlmark, known as the Last Viking, an extreme adventurer I met on a beach in Spain shortly after his arrival to Gibraltar.
Jonas paddleboarded all the way from Norway to Gibraltar, a journey that took three and a half years. Along the way, he also took on adventure skiing challenges and ran a marathon every day. His story is extraordinary, but what makes it truly powerful is his openness about mental health.
Jonas lives with bipolar disorder and uses his adventures to bring awareness to mental health and inspire others to keep going, even in their darkest moments. He has already published one book and is currently writing another to continue sharing his journey and message with the world.
We also talk about the importance of nature, reconnecting with the natural world, and how time outdoors can be deeply healing for both body and mind.
This is a conversation about resilience, purpose, and the quiet strength that comes from living close to nature.
