Founder Notes: Updates to World Podcast Network

Hello, podcasters. I want to share several updates about where we are taking World Podcast Network and what you can expect from the platform in the months ahead. We are working to make WPN faster, easier to use, and more helpful to podcasters who want to grow their shows.

A faster, more streamlined network

We have been simplifying and improving World Podcast Network so that the site is easier to navigate and the core tools are easier to reach. A more streamlined network helps us focus on what matters most: helping podcasters present their shows, connect with listeners, and find useful ways to promote their work.

An easier My Podcast portal

We are making the My Podcast portal easier to use. This is where podcasters manage important information about their shows, so it should be clear and straightforward to update your podcast presence. We are continuing to improve the experience and make routine tasks less complicated.

A temporary pause in monetization features

Some monetization features are temporarily unavailable while we make changes. Our plan at the time was to bring them back during the last week of June. Thank you for your patience while we worked through the updates. We want monetization tools to be useful and reliable for podcasters and their audiences.

Podcast Movement is coming to New York City

Podcast Movement 2026 is scheduled for September 17–18 in New York City. I’m looking forward to the event and to connecting with podcasters, hearing what creators need, and sharing ideas that can help shows reach more people.

SEO and AEO for every episode

We are putting more attention on search engine optimization and answer engine optimization for podcast episodes. Strong titles, useful descriptions, and well-organized episode information can help people find your content through search engines and AI-powered tools. Every episode deserves a clear presentation that tells potential listeners what they will learn or enjoy.

Your Expertise is returning

We are also preparing to bring Your Expertise back. This feature is designed to help podcasters showcase what they know and make it easier for others to find people with relevant experience. We will share more as the return gets closer.
