Pride Month celebrates and commemorates lesbian gay bisexual transgender queer LGBTQ pride which began after the Stonewall riots in the US in 1969 In this special diversity and inclusion episode we talk to Dr Rayner Tan Chairperson and Director of The Greenhouse about the progress that has been made since then the importance of allyship LGBTQ Youth and Rayner s personal story that eventually led him to serve in The Greenhouse The Greenhouse is a substance addiction and trauma recovery centre for marginalised communities providing customised care that is holistic and integrated within a safe and supportive environment The targeted communities are LGBTQ members ethnic minorities trauma survivors people with inbalanced mental health addiction issues living with HIV AIDS as well as for ex-offenders who have been incarcerated and who may face challenges with reintegration back into family and society The Greenhouse www thegreenhouse sg is mainly funded by donations Click here to visit this podcast episode
